OLTD Learning Outcome: Plan learning opportunities most suitable to the strengths and challenges of a variety of environments
Evidence: My first archived piece for this course is my final project:

Context of Evidence in Relation to the Outcome: I looked at many of my cohort members' final projects, and, by comparison, my project seems modest. Almost all of my cohort teaches in the K-12 system. Because these teachers teach their students all day, every day, they have re-designed their classrooms and teaching/learning strategies disruptively, primarily using rotation models. I wonder how likely it is that they will be able to innovate their learning environments with blended learning.
Context of Outcome in Relation to my Practice: My project is more modest because I teach individual college courses - four per semester - so I need to consider the viability of blending each of these courses individually. I believed that blending the couse I describe in my project, English 159, would be the most viable and realistic for approval, for several reasons. I am the course supervisor and the course is taught to a cohort group of about 12 students (half the typical number of students in a first-year English course). I proposed blending this course to my dean, but he is unwilling at this time to approve any blended deliveries unless an existing F2F delivery of a course is struggling with low numbers and blended would provide better access.
OLTD Learning Outcome: Demonstrate basic competency with design and implementation within a variety of online learning environments and tools
Evidence: My second archived piece for this course is the presentation for my final project:
https://app.biteable.com/video/1686708/preview
Context of Evidence in Relation to the Outcome: The free Biteable presentation format is limited. I like the extent of audio options, as it is varied. I also like that one can build a presentation with an indefinite number of slides. The main limitation is that little text can be applied to slides. Each slide has a 50 character limit. Given this limit, I'm not sure that I was able to convey the meaning of my project accurately enough. Choosing Biteable for my presentation is an example of my lack of confidence and practice with presentation tools, other than Powerpoint.
Context of Outcome in Relation to my Practice: I used Biteable to create my introduction presentation at the beginning of OLTD 511, and I found it useful for that purpose. The main reason that I chose to use it for my final project presentation was because I wanted to practice with it again. If I don't practice with an online tool, I will soon forget how to use it. I will use Biteable to introduce myself online to my literature course students next semster.
